9th Lewisham North Scout Group

Through the adventure of Scouting, young people get to take controlled risks in a safe environment, try new things and have their first taste of responsibility. We give young people experiences they'll never forget. The sort of adventure Scouting offers is the chance to try something different and the opportunity to face challenges.

We want to ensure that as many young people as possible have the opportunity to be involved in Scouting’s everyday adventure, so we are planning to open a new Scout Group for boys and girls aged 4 to 14 years old in your local community. We would love you and your family to come along and take part in our Scout Group Challenge evenings to find out more about our plans.

We encourage you to attend all four of our taster evenings. All children and young people must be accompanied by at least one parent, carer, or guardian for the whole taster event. ‘Be Prepared’ to get involved as there will be lots to do and take part in!

Our Taster Evenings will take place on 

11th September, 630pm - 730pm

18th September, 630pm - 730pm

25th September, 630pm - 730pm

2nd October, 630pm - 730pm

We then have the intention of continuing weekly meetings after this.

We are also aiming to start Cubs (for 8 to 10 years olds) and Scouts (for 10 to 14 year olds) soon after once we have build our volunteer team.
